Showcasing the works of Kaitlin Ziesmer – April First Friday

We’re excited to showcase new works from local Colorado artist Kaitlin Ziesmer this coming First Friday in the Santa Art District at our flagship store. Kaitin has been a staple in the Colorado art scene since graduating from Rocky Mountain College of Design back in 2010. Since then she has only improved her skills and created a plethora of wonderful works that create a sense of cheeky fun. She has showcased her work throughout Colorado and beyond. Often her works encompass the theme of anthropomorphic animals represented as pop culture figures. The scenes she creates with animals and her use of colors illicit smiles for days from her adoring fans.

The theme of animals runs heavy within her work. The show at Abstract will continue this theme bringing it into the 3D realm with painted animal sculptures. Kaitlin’s use of color really makes these sculptures stand out. The lifelike quality of the sculptures is truly a site to see and we hope you will come out this coming First Friday and experience them yourself! If you would like to see more of Kailtin’s work, shoot on over to her website here.
